Happy [Weekend]

Happy Friday and hello 2015! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and the start of the year has been good to you so far.

We arrived back in London earlier this week after almost a month spent exploring Japan either side of meeting up with family in Hawaii for Christmas.

After Christmas, Kieren and I headed back to Japan to go snowboarding. We stayed in the village of Shiga Kogen about an hour out of Nagano. In between the snow village and Nagano is a Snow Monkey Park where I took the photo above. It was heavily snowing all morning and after a 2km trek we reached the hot springs where the Snow Monkeys are just in the wild. It was a surreal experience to watch them bathing in the hot springs amidst the snow!
